Micky1979
PS : Huh, is this a bug of El Capitan or something else ? I don't have this with Clover : To me seem a bug in Clover: Go = Giga octet if you mean this. Edited September 23, 2015 by Micky1979 no bug anywhere
polyzargone
looks right Really ? So 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 5 Gb installed (5 Go installés) ? "Votre Mac comprend 4 logements de mémoire. Chacun d’eux peut accueillir un module de mémoire de 400 MHz DDR2 SDRAM." "Your Mac includes 4 memory slots . Each can accommodate a 400 MHz DDR2 SDRAM memory module." Look again . Micky1979
The first strange thing for me was "Go", so I did a search and found out that French localization use octets. You are right , now I see Can I have a bdmesg? ..and can you point me to your motherboard spec at Vendor site?

Micky1979
The bdmesg looks ok about your RAM (1024x4), and your mobo has only 4 slots... so I'm now sure is a Apple bug.. Micky1979
Hey guys, when I boot with the kext injected i've this issue in VmWare, when booted without the kernel.plist and kexts in S/L/E VmWare runs without any error... Unable to retrieve kernel zone sizes. can you check if all goes well with this bootloder?
Pike R. Alpha
TIP: Don't mix the UINT8* with UINT32* when you set 'system-id'. This property should be a one-on-one copy of the SMBIOS_Table1_Uuid value. Not following this rule will result in a mangled UUID.

fusion71au
Guys this is a new "test" version:Enoch-rev.2761_Tets_2.pkg.zip It's a package Installer containing latest changes for the boot file, but also for the installer itself (can write the kernel.plist) What's new: Use of the Darwin kernel version instead of the OS version to make patches. Boot all vanilla installers made by the "Install OSX xxx .app" KernelHasswel option renamed to KernelHaswell About booting installer: changes (should) allow Enoch to find and boot installer made with no createinstallermedia method also, i.e. when you open for example "Install OS X El Capitan GM Candidate.app", choose the target volume and wait for restart. Well tested with "Install Mac OS X Lion.app", "Install OS X Mountain Lion.app" and "Install OS X El Capitan GM Candidate.app". e.g. I create an installer for El Capitan running 10.7.5, targeting a partition containing 10.10.2. The "Install OS X El Capitan GM Candidate.app" was in my backup disk (/Volumes/Dati/App/New/). When the process finished I have rebooted and I had to select "/Volumes/Dati" (because the installer is made in the partition where the app was), the Upgrade was done automatically .. and now I'm writing from that "El Capitan". Sure most of you have the app in /Applications/ ...so you have to boot the OS partition.. TODO: mark that partition as Installer at the GUI...need two new icons fix Snow Leopard issue Please test NOTE: Installer is marked as unstable to prevent users to upload it elsewere. Etest.png Why? we need testers, please report here and don't share not totally tested code! Later ErmaC can build a new package for all if all is ok! Thanks I can confirm r2761_t2 working well here, using the same settings as post#3486 . Able to boot OSX 10.7.5 --> 10.11.1 and their Recovery Partitions Boots installers made with createinstallmedia or BaseSystem.dmg restore method Pkg Installer correctly installs kernel.plist Able to install El Capitan GM by directly running the app As you also mentioned, it still has a problem with Snow Leopard ---> reboots after trying to load the mkext. Not important but there is a spelling mistake in the boot messages: "reposytories" should be spelt "repositories" and I also see the entries after the first entry hidden until you scroll down (if no themes are installed or GUI=No @jsl post#3413). Edit Sorry for "reposytories" ...here Italian , corrected for the next time! For the entries, basically if w/o loading any theme you need to press some buttons on the keyboard or something similar to make it appear? You mean this? No problem ...your English is much better than my Italian Yes, I have to press the <down> arrow key to make the rest of the entries appear...

Pike R. Alpha
THX, you mean about casting made in readSMBIOSInfo or in fake_efi?I guess so. Can't remember where exactly I have seen it. Just make sure that the system-id property is set to that of SMBIOS table 1 Uuid i.e. you must be able to find it in the SMBIOS data in your ioreg dump. jsl
ErmaC: Thanks again for this excellent new version of Chameleon ! It's the only one version can boot 10.11GM in my Hackintoshs after adding kernel.plist in /Extra. One tiny bug is unable to show GUI=Yes mode and defect dispaly of GUI=No in most of my display cards, e.g. AMD 6870, Intel HD 4600, Nvidia GTX 980, etc. But it's just cosmetic inconvenience for me. The abnormal and normal display are shown below: Thanks for suggestions from crazybirdy, fusion71au and Micky1979, etc. Solved this booting problem now. 1. Need install Theme in /Extra with Chameleon newer version after v.2716 to enable GUI=Y and normal display at booting 2. Need copy /Extra to hidden EFI partition too 3. In the worst case like mine with multiple Mac OS X partitions: if the problem still exits, need do the above to all Mac partitions Edited September 26, 2015 by jsl

polyzargone
Yes, third stage lacks the Apple logo on my system and progress bar is half filed but I thought it was someway related to my old GeForce 8600 GT. Thanks Hi Micky, Your test version of Enoch r2770 solves the hidden menu entries problem (when there is no installed theme) . PS it also boots the latest El Capitan DB 10.11.1 build 15B22c.... The SL issue remains. With only -v, I get to the stage where I see the message "Attempting to loading drivers from the "Extra" repository:" ---> tries to load for 1-2 seconds ---> then reboots system. Also reboots with -v -f or -v UseKernelCache=No.

Also OK with 10.7.5, 10.9.5, 10.10.5 & 10.11GM, 10.11.1beta: Only boot with -v, FakeSMC & VoodooPS2Controller kexts injected into kernelcache/PLK from /Extra/Extensions. crazybirdy
Not sure, but I've found a possible fix for Snow:boot.zip ...to try.. Hi Micky, Good job! It works fine with 10.4.11, 10.5.8, 10.6.8, 10.7.5, 10.9.5, and 10.11.GM. (without -f, keep SLE untouched, with /E/E/FakeSMC.kext, boot with prelinkedkernel and kernelcache) But can't find Booter Extensions patch location with 10.8.5, and 10.10.5, and can't load /E/E/FakeSMC.kext as attached. FYI. bdmesg-2770m.zip
