deek5
Thank you for the answers, then several possibiltés I compiled chameleon doing mods, it is possible that the segments are not aligned after compilation.after defragmentation of the Windows partition and chkdsk reorganizations, the message "Kernel -__ symtab" not a kext "disappeared .. The concern is not that it is important as a message, but it appears this message. So actually the message disappeared but I have no rational explanation.thank you again Why config option documented in the chameleon user manual does not work ?"Additional Useful command-line options:config = <file> Use an alternate Boot.plist queue. ErmaC
I upload the revision 2710 of Enoch (My Branch of Chameleon) --> http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/71-enoch/ It has a "support" for El Capitan I say "support" (Double quote) because is untested. If someone try it with "El Capitan" let me know (I have not the time to try myself on 10.11 DP1) other things have hight priority. NOTE: the disk icon still generic until the graphics stuff will be made... maybe Blackosx   ErmaC

(I ask about Yosemite) Wold be useful to see if is able to boot one already configured El Capitan system.

Test with Enoch 2710, still get reboot when starting kernel on dark screen, after gray screen reading kext things. The following is the last line..................before reboot. zone_init: kmem_suballoc failed\"@/Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/xnu/xnu-3216.0.0.1.13/osfmk/kern/zalloc.c:2186" Just the same error, reboot with trunk 2705. crazybirdy

crusher
What would be the difference to Clover if it was UEFI? mhaeuser
95% of computers today UEFI and therefore I asked and suggested I know and this was the reason Clover and Ozmosis have been developed. I just asked you what would actually be the difference to current solutions and how current techniques would apply if it was UEFI. UEFI would mean boot.efi would be launched and that would make most of the boot loader part in Chameleon obsolete which is the reason for many to still use it. Chameleon like it is now would not benefit from UEFI and a Chameleon adapted towards UEFI would almost be Clover.
