Candurin
So, I am still getting the error when trying to update iPhoto and iMovie: This update is for an app downloaded with a different Apple ID. Sign in with that Apple ID and try again. Then I get the app store (null error). Everything in bdmesg populates properly with the 2267-test 3 chameleon. The only thing I don't show in system profile is Serial Number (processor tray) although I do have that key in SMBios (same 17 digit serial number is the system). Does this have anything to do with why I cannot update the two apps?

Onixs
Correct. iMac doesnt have it. But this will not stop iMac definition from downloading in Appstore.
Bungo
MacBook/Pro doesn't have it also. I think incorrect/different system uuid may cause that and similar issues. @Candurin Why don't you update with correct AppleID?
Candurin
I've tried. I even have the CDs iLife '11 came on. I had no issues with any of the supplemental updates on 10.8. I can call apple support and see what they recommend, but my concern is that they'll dig deep enough to discover that I'm using a hackintosh. I even did a fresh maverick install and iLife install with no luck.

slayer2333
Hey guys, i'm having a little problem with Chameleon right now. I have an Nvidia 780m GTX and an Intel HD4600 (optimus) and i can get the Intel to lod properly without problems using GraphicsEnabler=Yes and IntelAzulFB=11 however: -If i use SkipNvidiaGfx=Yes i can boot properly to the GUI BUT i don't get audio (using AppleHDA - Realtek ALC892), also the HDMI video out works with this. -If i use SkipNvidiaGfx=No it won't boot (stuck on loop) untill i use -f , in this case Audio works but i have no HDMI video out so i'm leaving this arg permanent for now. Can anyone let me know if he has the same kind of problem? Already tried setting dGPU to Off in Bios and also tried GraphicsEnabler=No (but it boots only if i plug the HDMI to an external display, and no QI/CL). Note: HDMI video seems to be handled only by NVIDIA (discrete), the Intel HD 4600 handles Mini Display, VGA out and the internal display. Using Clover, i still loose Audio but i get HDMI video to work. Thank you in advance.
verleihnix
Hi, Just tried 2267 test 3. I recognized a wrong cpu frequency. The automatic detection went wrong starting with version 2264. Correct is 2,5GHz. Output from bdmesg: CPU: TSCFreq: 2499MHz CPU: FSBFreq: 333MHz CPU: CPUFreq: 23830MHz Edit: If I boot from HD with 2263 and select HD with 2267 to boot everything is ok. Thanks verleihnix
nyolc8
You getting "processor tray serial number" in system profiler with chameleon 2267 test3? I only get that with Clover... (btw test3 still not injecting baseboard assettag and baseboard location in chassis values, other things are now injected nicely)
Nubira
I have a strange problem here my ga ep35-ds3r q6600 insists on only rumning 64bit mode what ever I do. Can this be something related to later chameleon versions I mean is there a setting I am mot aware of? I did try arch i386 in every way I could find info about. Also the bios is set to 32 bit. Any ideas on what could be wrong? I am running 10.6.8 and like always I have two partitions, one for the osx dmg and all bootfiles and a big one for the installation. Cham is installed to the partition with the osx dmg. I always do it like this cause I dont need to use usb flashdrives for my installations then and it goes fast to install and I always have a way to get back up running if it breaks. nyolc8
With test3, updating iWork apps still have the same error. So injecting these things are not helping much as I see. I hope someone will find out what is the difference in clover with these IDs...

Bungo
Did you set any of SMkey related to CPU (SMcpuexternalclock, SMcpumaxspeed, etc.) in your plist?
DarwinX
Did you set any of SMkey related to CPU (SMcpuexternalclock, SMcpumaxspeed, etc.) in your plist? I'm having the same issue as juanerson, and no, I don't have any CPU related SMKey entries in my SMBios.plist.
juanerson
Nop, Bungo. And, in the previous r2263 is fine. Thanks. Edited: The issue is coming from the multiplier detection? This is from the top of bdmesg (max: 9.5 current: 73.5):
Smith@@™
chameleon is dying, is remained only Fabio unfortunately.. Other have disappeared..
Bungo
Can you add to your plist SMcpumaxspeed key for testing?
juanerson
SMmaximalclock 2533 From "smbios.plist" do the "cosmetic" part. But unfortunately remain the issue in the multiplier detection (current: 73.5) from bdmesg: It is there a flag from "org.chameleon.Boot.plist" not cosmetic to set the correct - current multiplier? BootHelp.txt: "busratio= Alter bus ratio - e.g.: 8.5 (default: auto)." (TESTED busratio=9.5 NOT WORKED) BootHelp.txt
