(if ok I will merge it to main trunk) I do this change into my branch r1442... Portuguese (Brazil) = pt_BR Portuguese (Portugal) = pt_PT pls compile it and test if finally we have the correct "value"..
Larx
Hi Fabio, Bosnian and Croatian languages, not working !?? Chameleon 2.1svn r1442 !!! What is wrong ??? Greetings !
Azimutz
I don't care too, but that's how it is in default Lion apps, pt.lproj for brazilian and pt_PT.lproj for portuguese. Maybe it's different in this installer, I don't know. I can tell it's working fine in r1440.... I don't want to enter in big considerations about this; as i said, i don't really care, as long as it works; i was just mentioning the country/language codes; didn't went to the extent of checking apps languages and certainly not on Lion, since i don't use it, but let me check... Yep, i can see what you pointed on Safari... oh well, i'm not going to express my opinion as a Portuguese citizen What i understand in Apple's way, is that e.g. in this case we should have 3 lproj, pt, pt_BR and pt_PT; pt would have the common parts and the other two, the respective differences; nice more work... these guys do love to keep us busy My vote is for pt_PT and pt_BR, that's it! Same stuff for other languages. About the package it self, probably needs update in the way that's build, but for now i'm just focused on fixing install problems... we'll see about the rest... Azimutz
Rename the downloaded file by REMOVING the .gz. ( the files size should be 3.5+ megs), its already de-compressed,just got WRONG name. Bug in Repository?? STLVNUB, the pkg is gzip'ed before being uploaded: pkg installer: all ... @gzip --best ${DISTFILE}.pkg so, it can't be already de-compressed. Maybe it should get the same treatment as the bin package: dist image: all ... @cd ${SYMROOT} && tar -cf ${DISTFILE}.tar ${DISTROOT} @gzip --best ${DISTFILE}.tar @mv ${DISTFILE}.tar.gz ${DISTFILE}.tgz tar'ed and gzip'ed ?? Keep in mind that i have no access to Lion...

Chameleon 1451 - The problem is still present, there is no translation for Croatian, also not for the Bosnian. Sorry Fabio. I do not intend to bother you. Simple, delete language that does not work, so we all know to read English. Try to use for both lang (bosnian and croatian) Serbian - Bosnia and Herzegovina - Latin ! Thank you ! Azimutz
Problem was when downloaded with Safari, it still left the .gz part on the end, even thought it was de-compressed. Ok, i get it now app mess... i rarely use Safari and usually is to solve problems, with e.g. problematic downloads, not to mess them; as for Cham Wiz, i follow development but never used it. My GPU is GMA X4500 using a patched kext from SL 10.6.8 running in 32bit mode. i failed to understand the relation between Chameleon and the display ... any ideas ? d-track
Help me! I had some chameleon version i can't remember before this fresh install which had prefpane and everything worked perfectly, even speedstep by native. I got the latest install and prefpane from here linked on the first page and chameleon boots but there is no gui, no quiet boot etc.. and no matter how i set the preference panes the settings are not recognized. I updated manually the boot.plist but also had no effect then i rolled back to the original manual 2.0 rc4 install. now i have gui at boot and i can enable quiet boot but i have no speedstep and prefpane, because the prefpane here is incompatible with this version. and is looking for some chameleon.plist that doesn't exist. I downloaded chameleon wizard which also have a chameleon.plist file editor and cant find the file either... what am i missing here? thanks! specs: asus p5gcmx1333 2gb ddr2 ram 2.66 ghz C2D Intel GMA950 by DSDT patch 10.6.
d-track
ok i renamed boot.plist to org.chameleon.plist and at install selected custom then resolution. this gives a graphic boot menu but no still no matter what i set in the prefpane. i checked the org.chameleon manually in textedit quiet boot YES gui NO arch=i386 and the result is: there IS gui at boot, no quiet boot, and loads 64 bit kexts instead of 32... what netxt? d-track
i tried to play with custom install options but most of the time installation failed... and if succeed then tere is no effect of resoulution checkbox so i can't get GUI at boot anymore. when the custom installation succeeded then a org.chameleon was created in /Extra In prefpane some setting are working like changing between legacy an new startup apple logo but for example the x86 or i386 flags doesn't do anything, kernel everytime remains 32 bit. if there is no soulution for this then i would like to roll back to the official rc4 and i tried it manually but after reboot it remains Chameleon-2.1svn-r1552.pkg.gz. how to uninstall this version? help would be very helpful this time:)
