lordeath Posted July 30, 2006 Share Posted July 30, 2006 Currently I have an AMD 3500+ with macvidia 6600, and alc850 stereo sound (mobo asus a8v-e se). I plug in a CMI8738 and I was able to work on 4.0 sound. Does anyone get working any of thouse cards with 5.1? CMI8738 3ed driver is 2.0 on system config, but seems to duplicate sound to 4.0 ALC850 ac97 is only 2.0 with VIA modified kext. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
