Help installing 10.6 on VM

Here are my hardware specs; I'm not sure what is of use to you all.

Host OS: Windows XP Professional (SP3) 5.1, Build 2600.

Guest OS: (Desired) Mac OS X 10.6.2 or higher

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-MA785G-UD3H

BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG

Processor: AMD Phenom II X2 545 Processor, MMX, 3DNow (2 CPUs) 3.0GHz

Memory: 3326mb RAM

DirectX: 9.0c

Video: NVidia GeForce 8800 GTS, Integrated RAMDAC, Approx Mem: 640mb

Sound: Realtek HD Audio output.

Over the past many months, I have tried so many various Mac OS X .iso's...

Including, but not limited to, Kalyway, Unmodified retail .dmg's (converted to .iso), and most recently iDeneb.

 

My most current attempts have been done upon the computer hardware described above, using the software described below:

.iso's: iDeneb v1.3 Mac OS 10.5.5

Snow Leopard v10a432 UserDVD

 

Instruction Manuals used: Taranfx

 

Settings used in VirtualBox:

-General/Basic: BSD, FreeBSD.

-System/Motherboard: 1024mb, Boot order: CD/DVD-ROM - HDD, Enable IO APIC. Toggle: EFI Enabled.

-Storage/IDE Primary Master: Leofx.vdi, IDE Primary Slave: iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5.iso (or Snow Leopard v10a432)

 

I attempted to do this, and big surprise! It didn't work. Typically, I would face such errors as "could not find ... ", and thus. Occasionally I'd find "No bootable volume found", but I'd work around this be re-assigning the devices in a number of different ways.

 

I would never get anything but a maddeningly black screen. If I try to install directly from the UserDVD of Snow Leopard, I get a black screen with yellow text. It starts a countdown to decide upon startup options. Regardless of what happens, at the end of this process I get a yellow line that says "shell>" in yellow text.

 

That is, if EFI is disabled. If it's enabled, there's a text sequence that reads as such:

At the end of this, it freezes and does not progress. A similar thing happens if I go by the book on the Taranfx method: Install Leopard first, and then upgrade. When mounting the iDeneb disk, if EFI is enabled, this message reads:

I notice the path of "Loading System..." has changed.

 

This is what I get when I boot with EFI disabled on the iDeneb: Boot Screen (Only without the loading cursor at the bottom).

 

It freezes there after giving me the option to select boot options, with a short countdown. This is in my view the closest I've gotten to success yet. An acknowledgement of something even reminiscent of Leopard.

 

I'm not sure what else to put; I've worked so hard toward this and would REALLY appreciate someone being able to tell me what they got to help them! Thank you all so much in advance.
