RobertX Posted October 3, 2014 Share Posted October 3, 2014 ...hey, for what it's worth, I overclocked my hd 6570 using rbe...but instead of flashing the card with the modded bios, I saved the bios...restarted into mac...moved the file into /Extra...renamed it for chameleon graphicsenabler purposes(uses the modded bios) and got all the benefits of the modded bios in mac upon a restart(GraphicsEnabler=Yes UseATIROM=Yes) ...here's my original post: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/296672-asus-radeon-hd-6570/?do=findComment&comment=2003526 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Bios from the 5770 have edited Fan Speeds, but OSX 10.10 overrides the Bios Fan Speeds. How can i load the ATI Bios Rom with the Ozmosis? (UseATIROM=Yes) It would be nice to Run the Fan Speeds on the 5770, that i have change in the ATI Bios. It Run to loud for me. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My card is a HD 6850 and I used the Vendor ID: 1002 and my Device ID as name for my VBIOS. (1002_6739.rom) and placed it in /ROM as suggested above. Is the file name for my VBIOS correct? I'm just trying to slow down the speed of the GPU fan and have used this settings in RBE: http://puu.sh/qse04/6bb54f48ff.png. Ah, and I'm using Clover. Can someone please help me out?
