well the ubuntu disk does boot and also windows 7

from MB manual

If you use a SATA optical drive to run the OS installation disk, we strongly recommend that you install the optical dirve to the SATA connectors 5/6 and set them to [iDE] mode.

so connect HDD to sata 1

and DVD to sata 6

good luck :(

one people faced this problem and when he made as i told you it goes to chamelon

Thanks now i can boot to thee boot cd and OSX installation.

The problem was the external Hard Disk. Which i disabled. Also set the DVD-Drive to be CD-rom Mode.

Now when i try to install on my Hard Disk (internal) Mac OSX does not see my HDD.

Could this be maybe because it is connected with IDE and using VIA controller for it to work.

IS there a fix for this?

Probably though i will buy a new SATA Hard DISk

Thanks

I have a 100% legit retail copy of 10.6.3.

My specs are:

Mobo: MSI K9A2 Platinum

CPU: Phenom II X4 940 BE

RAM: Corsair Dominatorgrey_loader.gif

GPU: Radeon 5970

When the DVD loads, I get the error:

"Client task not privileged to open IOHIDSystem for mapping memory"

Any ideas how to fix this?

Ah, yep. Working now. I'll give it a go and let you know what happens :)

When I try to use that new DVD, as soon as it exits the screen where you choose the DVD, the screen goes black and the fan on my graphics card spins up to 100%. Any Ideas?

No, it's right after I swap the DVD's over and select the Retail DVD in Chameleon.

Ok, I put "GraphicsEnabler=no" in chameleon, and it booted but got stuck at

"Client task not privileged to open IOHIDSystem for mapping memory"

again :/

do you have anther gfx card

Nope, and if I did, I wouldnt swap it. I spent too much on this one not to use it.

Is it a graphics card issue then?

It's loaded now. No Idea what I did, but it worked :) I'll be back with more problems later :)
