ChadmanK
So, after taking a year off, I've decided to build another Hackintosh. I've forgotten most of what I learned the last time around, so I've tried to make things easy on myself by purchasing a Mac version of EVGA's GTX 285 to avoid having to use an injector for the drivers. I'm installing to an Asus P6T7. Of course, after buying the card and waiting for delivery, it occurs to me that I may be in for some trouble. Will it post in my non-EFI motherboard? Any insight is greatly appreciated! And, the sooner the better so I can cancel my order if need be... -ChadmanK Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/226555-evga-gtx-285-mac-version/ Share on other sites
RaMDaY
I took a Nvidia 8800 GT out of a mac and it ran no problem on a Nforce motherboard. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/226555-evga-gtx-285-mac-version/#findComment-1519255 Share on other sites
ChadmanK
Thanks- I have a feeling I'm wasting my money on buying a Mac version, but if it works at all I'll be happy... -ChadmanK Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/226555-evga-gtx-285-mac-version/#findComment-1519256 Share on other sites
