Alexl55
I got a real apple remote from my Macbook. I was curious if I were to buy a generic usb IR reciever for my hackintosh, would Frontrow run like it does on my macbook? I found Kyrie1965's post about how to get native frontrow to install, but I was confused about the whole Device ID part. Also will the apple remote work with a generic reciever or does apple have some kind of special reciever for it? I just want to know if this will work before I go out and buy a USB IR receiver. Rockett
You would need an infrared receiver that is compatible with OSX - I doubt you'll have any luck with this.
