Sinadrin
ok the AppleLPC and the AppleHPET are active and i don't have temperature problems anymore, but when i eliminate the Nullcpupowermanagement.kext of the extra folder and i restart the computer, it loads really slow and even the windows move like if the processing is missing, this only happens when i delete the Nullcpupowermanagement.kext i don't understand!! XLR
MaLd0n, what's your geekbench score with this Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz btw?
Sinadrin
Yes, it is incredible, the worst of all is that the temperature of the processor is stable without the NullCPUPowerManagement.kext, but is happening the slowed down problem, when i get home i will record the problem on video and i'm going to put it on youtube showing what happens with and without the kext. mitch_de
to all devs : Pstates generator - manual VID "step up" by parameter add ? VID sets the Voltage - normally unproblematic if not overclocked CPU. I have an moderate OCed C2D CPU (2.66> 3.0, 10*300FSB vs 10* 266 orig.) and uses own pstates in dsdt. I have little more VID (2 steps) than normal. Also the new pstates / cstates generator seems to work but also make my system unstable. Freezing, but no KP. Would it possible to add an new parameter (for boot.plist) like OCvidADD = 1...10 which would add 1..10 * the cpu depened (C2DQuadi7) vid step voltage (for my knowledge its 16 mV each VID +1 )? For example if the generator computes VID of 17 the new Parameter OCvidADD =2 would set VID up to 19 (2*16 mV(or the value for other cpu type) more each Pstate).
