iRipper,

According to me you have some DSDT problem(s) because of these two lines in your bdmesg log:

ACPI table not found: DSDT.aml
ACPI table not found: SSDT.aml

One advice - better use the below key in com.apple.boot.plist instead of injecting the EFI string for the video card

<key>Graphics Enabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>

It seems somehow NullCPUPowerManagement.kext compensates those two omissions.

Also Disabler.kext is only used to stop AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext from loading.

EDIT: I totally agree with Gringo Vermelho about the overclocking!

There could be your problem...

EDIT: Rednous - you beat me to it Ha ha.

Hi blackosx :P

No problem, if we can help we should help :)

Regarding the Chameleon bulgarian localization I'll post it later here.

I have tried booting with default CPU clocks without CPU Management - KP

Tried booting without CPU Management and Disabler at default clocks - Still KP

Any other suggestions? Thank you for trying to help me :)

Would you post your current DSDT here. I'll take a look it later at home.

thank you so much for all the guys, and specially to MaLd0n for the new DSDT and ChameleonRC5_rev472.

i have a question, i have the option activated of the cstates in my plist, and i have the NullCPUPowerManagement.kext installed in the Extra folder, and my doubt is why when i delete this kext the temperature of the CPU Increases?

why increases the temperatures of the CPU without the kext?

Thanks. :)

You can try dumping your SSDT tables and have Chameleon load them.

Set DropSSDT=y in /extra/com.apple.Boot.plist and place the SSDT tables in /Extra, follow the instructions and naming conventions outlined in the first post.

You can use Lavalys Everest to dump all your ACPI tables under Windows - see screenshots here:

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;#entry1468558

Make sure you have HPET (if you have such a setting) C-state tech and Intel Speedstep enabled in the BIOS.

Make sure AppleLPC.kext is loaded on your system and that there are no error messages from AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext in kernel.log (run Console.app to see the logs)

Make sure your Processor Scope in DSDT is unmodified - read:

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...t&p=1525596

Check with ioregistryexplorer if you have C-states (CSTinfo - follow the link for screenshot)

Hi,

Sorry for that : I'm a bit of a noob here, I'm having some troubles, I really need help.

I've done a retail install (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=189052), I upgraded to 10.6.4, then set up my graphic card, then I installed Chameleon RC5 from MaLd0n's link :

Chameleon v2.0-RC5 r472

ChameleonRC5_rev472.zip

yel06.png

dsdt.aml_RAUL.zip

I didn't do anything with DSDT.aml, because I simply don't know how to use it.

In verbose mode, it is stuck when it says :

SerialATAPI device reconfiguration did not complete successfully. (failedCommandInfo = 0x1)

SerialATAPI device reconfiguration did not complete successfully. (failedCommandInfo = 0x1)

SerialATAPI device reconfiguration did not complete successfully. (failedCommandInfo = 0x1)

SerialATAPI device reconfiguration did not complete successfully. (failedCommandInfo = 0x1)

SerialATAPI device reconfiguration did not complete successfully. (failedCommandInfo = 0x1)

And it goes on and on until I turn off the computer.

Can you help me please ?

Here is my config :

Asus P6T SE

core i7 930

2x2go DDR3 1066

ATI HD 5870

That's your DVD drive.

Make sure your SATA controller is set to AHCI mode in the BIOS.

Look for a firmware upgrade for the DVD drive. Check if the SATA cable is plugged in firmly, try another cable, try plugging the drive into another SATA port. If there's a disc in it, eject it. If there isn't, put one in.

Who would be so kind to connect to me with TeamViewer and do their magic or to just teach me how to do it?

How far did you get? Did you install Everest?

I just don't know how to dump SSDT. I'm a quick learner I just need to see it one time and I'll get it.
:) I guess you don't like to click on links. You better get over it because the Internets are full of them.

Read post #691 again, only this time really read it. Then read my reply to you in post #694 and put two and two together.

iRipper, kext AppleLPC is being loaded? (you can boot using NullCPUPowerManagement, right?)

Yes, that's the only way I can boot. Only WITH CPU Management.kext

You're the one saying you need to see things. The screenshots were there the whole time and yet you didn't see them. I can't open your eyes for you.

i did the extraction of the ACPI tables with the everest and i place them in the extra folder

You only need the SSDT tables. And maybe you don't need them at all. Make sure they are named like mojo says in the very first post.

how can i make work the HPET and the appleLPC in my DX58SO motherboard and check if they are active? :D

Open System Profiler, click 'extensions' to the left and tell me if you see AppleHPET.kext and AppleLPC.kext in the list.
