redioactif
Hi I have an HP nc6400 laptop, and I installed iAtkos v7 (mac 10.5.7) on it. I followed tutorials and the installation went ok I thik. However, when it was time to boot, my first problem was I got a white screen saying that I had to plug a keyboard...so I basically put the CD back, and installed the APIC driver (I unchecked all the rest so that the installation would go faster...I dont know if I can do that) (I also checked a couple of others...I think keyboard or something....dont think I should have though) And now, when I boot, I get a message saying "you need to restart your computer", and whenever I restart it, I still get it... My computer is a NC6400. My CPU is Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T7200 got 1.5gb ram and that's about it, if you need any other info, please let me know. Any ideas on how I can overcome this? Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/224001-problem-after-installation/ Share on other sites

redioactif
use -f -v Post a photo Not my pic, but this is exactly what it looks like: http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/3486/imagenog.jpg For the -f -v, what do you mean exactly? Is it when I boot from the CD? I read that for my laptop, I should use CPUS=1 to start installation... what diffrence does it make? redioactif
OK. I'm gonna try to re-install it by doing this. When I get to the driver part, is it ok if I take APIC driver, I've read that it has something to do with the keyboard/touchpad ?
