Jack Storeytime Posted June 26, 2010 Share Posted June 26, 2010 I have installed SL with hazard with everything working for me apart from the standard errors on the U300 - DVD Player and DVDs not working, Sound (easily fixed) and internet. Wifi never worked so I tried to use Ethernet. No dice. It always always used to work with just setting to BootP and restarting the computer and router. Now BP doesn't work and so I tried with DHCP. DHCP always has a green light on the Ethernet port (no orange flashing light) but it has "self assigned IP" and will not connect. When it comes to Manual I enter my settings IP: 78.151.71.214 subnet mask: 255.255.0.0 Router: 192.168.1.1 DNS Server: 192.168.1.2 It either gets in diagnostics Ethernet and ISP in green but everything in yellow or Ethernet, NS and ISP in green with the other two orange or red. I have tried the Ethernet RTL8101 Mac patch off of realtek but nothing. What is wrong? I use a ZyXel Prestige 600 series router btw. Internet was fine on Leopard anybody?
