domino
I don't think this has ever been posted. Where is there a site to download the original Tiger startup/shutdown chimes (if any)? domino
I've had that pref for about a week now and just got around to trying to config it . I tried googling os x chimes and came up with the default sounds that's already included with 10.4.x. You know that chime when you first boot to Tiger? That's what i'm actually looking for. Rammjet
There was a project on this board to install a small circuit board to play the startup sound when starting a hackintosh. With the reorg, I can't find it. Maybe your search skills can. Meanwhile, this other thread on the startup sound offers a startup sound in MP3. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=116560 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/22255-where-to-find-startup-sound-chime/#findComment-147383 Share on other sites
domino
circuit board? Not looking for a mod. I'm just looking for small aif sound bites to run with the prefpane app. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/22255-where-to-find-startup-sound-chime/#findComment-147385 Share on other sites
Rammjet
The point was, they loaded the circuit board with sampled sounds which could be used for your prefpane. Anyway, I found the thread and also found this: http://tcp.com/~dschaub/sound.html Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/22255-where-to-find-startup-sound-chime/#findComment-147387 Share on other sites
