doink123
Gigabyte EP45-DS3L + Core2 Quad Q9400 + GeForce 9800GT - Everything's fine, except SleepEnabler (boot with pmVersion=0 if you've missed it for the time being if it KP's). Sound's out too, but that's my fault, time to update the DSDT...
BuXb
Downloaded, installed, everything's fine confirmed. After Update replaced AppleHDA, IOPCIFamily, IOUSBFamily + in boot plist pmVersion=20. SleepEnabler never worked for me with Netkas PC EFI 10.6 but with Chameleon (original or mods). I am running AnVal bootloader.

stinkyfish
+1 Only problem (so far) is SleepEnabler (boot with pmVersion=0 if you've missed it for the time being if it KP's). Hopefully a patched version will forthcoming.
Starhero
I hate to just ASK this with out looking through the forums again, but could I please be directed to a guide on making a DSDT. Also, should I even make it when I have a Asus G51vx and the guy that helped everyone get that working seemed to include a DSDT, I just haven't used it....since I am still unsure EXACTLY what it is. Something along the lines of ACPI info for the EFI? On to the update, I WILL NOT update for a while until I KNOW everything will work... .3 gave me an HDMI lock (which i read the thread of) and the sims 3 ...one of the few games I DO wanna play, just shows a blank screen in it... I have reinstalled OS X about 15 times in the past week and a half. I am not going through problems again.. But I believe a DSDT would soften my problems from what I DO remember of it.... ntsmkfob
SleepEnabler as mentioned above, and need to disable/remove AppleHDA.kext if using VoodooHDA otherwise VoodooHDA KPs. A few (more) error msgs in system.log from Parallels 5.0 on startup, but seems to work OK.
Burpethead
Working perfect on my Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L motherboard. I'm not using sleepenabler. Is AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext new?

tseug
SleepEnabler for 10.6.x works with pmVersion=20. To make this permanent, add pmVersion=20 to the Kernel Flags string in com.apple.Boot.plist

Post the specs on your build if you want anyone to help... Somebody may already have a DSDT for you! SleepEnabler for 10.6.x works with pmVersion=20. To make this permanent, add pmVersion=20 to the Kernel Flags string in com.apple.Boot.plist what machine is this applicable to what motherboard and processor? what graphics card? what does the pmVersion+20 variable affect? ileikcaek
I just installed and everything is running good, just need to wait for somebody to make a patched sleepenabler for 10.6.4 With voodooHDA.kext is it definitely recommended to remove AppleHDA.kext? I just read back and saw someone said about KP's, I had a few KP's on boot with voodooHDA so if I install it again and get rid of AppleHDA.kext will I be fine?
