Hi guys,

I'm trying to get Snow Leopard server to work on my Intel D945GCLF2 Atom board, and I think I'm nearly there (I'm think I'm missing something quite obvious) so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been trying to do this for a while, and then I found a disk image clone of a working SL Server install on this very motherboard.

I've tried restoring the image using disk utility and carbon copy cloner, and have tried installing several versions of chameleon and PC EFI from netkas.org.

With the most successful attempt, the system boots to the apple logo, the wheel spins for ages and then a little 'no entry' symbol appears.

The person who had the original install mentions something about updating three UUID's:

"the three UUID mods are:

both com.apple.boot.plist's (in extra/extensions and Library/preferences/System Configuration)

and the info.plist inside the contents of Platform UUID.kext (extra/extensions)"

I've installed a number of different osx86 systems, but have no idea what to do here. I've done a lot of searching too, so any help would be amazing.

Thanks.

Ok, so I'm an idiot.

I found the UUID for the drive and updated the 3 necessary files, and it works!

Snow Leopard server on the atom board. Everything working apart from sound. But it's a server so that's no big deal.

Now make a guide, please. I have the same board and would love to know how ;). Your sig says 10.5.2..care to share that too?

thanks :tomato:
