1) yes it is really necessary.

2) not directly; the sound issue is somehow related to bad bioses and/or bad fsb values.

@Mohamed,

this one looks better. One problem remaining though: I don't want frequency to go below the 800 limit.

Try the one I've sent you (when you time have)

Valv,

Further to your note on page 59 and the issue of memory detection (not) working vs Kabyls; finally got around to getting the info. Although I see you are now onto much more exciting stuff!

Recall am unable to run bdmesg as Atom32bit, so here's Linux dumps instead.

(Note: Booted with version 5.1.2:

not bad! what do u think ?

Also, for you guyz that got hassle with sound and bad FSB (hannibal, wojnar...). Am actually backing a new version and highly appreciate beta-testers. If interested, send me a pm and I'll give you link for the file to test. Thanks.

we should make kernel trust on bootloader :D
dunno,

maybe stick with tsc freq for first p-state. But then, it is going to yell about fsb.

Hi valv, great work, but i have a problem with my q6600 and asus p5q pro. With all other loader the cstates and pstates are generate well, but with your boot doesn't and so the ps restart always. Thia happen both in overclock and to default frequency
