FAT32 will work fine on both systems, but has a max file size of 4GB -- if you had any larger files you intended to transfer with it, I would format it with NTFS and use a third-party program like Paragon or MacFUSE for using Write functions from OSX. leslieking
I heard NTFS is faster. Is it true? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/215775-how-can-i-use-a-flash-drive-on-both-windows-and-mac/#findComment-1450548 Share on other sites
tom btc
Any speed difference should be negligible. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/215775-how-can-i-use-a-flash-drive-on-both-windows-and-mac/#findComment-1474022 Share on other sites
