Mifter
Hey everyone, I have an Acer Aspire 5735Z that I got for free from a friend (he totally trashed his windows installation and got a new pc) so I decided to Hackintosh it. Now that I have it running Snow Leopard Vanilla Kernel (I used a retail disk so I believe that it would be Vanilla) only one of the laptops 2gb of ram are showing, and being used. When I type sysctl hw.busfrequency hw.physmem into terminal it only says I have one GB of ram installed as does Activity Monitor and About This Mac. But, if I go into system profiler it says I have to 2 1gb ram chips in my laptop (which is what I actually have) Is their any way to get snow leopard to use this extra ram. If you need any extra info I would be happy to supply it. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/211501-snow-leopard-not-recognizing-ram/ Share on other sites
