Will this guide work on a p6t non deluxe/SE? I've been trying to install Snow Leopard on my computer without much luck. So far, I tried follow the following guides. My problem now is that I can get SL to install, but when it restarts after finishing the install the Apple logo changes to a power button and it tells me I have to turn me computer off and then on in several different languages and I can't make it past that.

Any suggestions or a guide I can follow that will work for my setup?

THIS GUIDE IS ONLY FOR:

- P6T DELUXE V1

- P6T DELUXE V2

- P6TD DELUXE

and tiny DSDT support for P6T SE

No idea "how too" for different model.

for P6T try this link.. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=187151

The original post had a P6TD listes, so I wasn't sure what model that was supposed to be.

And one other questions, maybe you cah answer it; when I use the "add reply", it won't post anything I type into the box, only quotes. I have to either edit the quote and add my text at the bottom like I'm doing now or use "fast reply"

Hello people,

I am new here on this forum and want to thank you all for make this possible. My PC has become a MAC Pro and finally I have got something to learn again and enjoy my PC again.

I have the same problem as Juan reported. Before I used the installer 1.15 I saw an Intel XEON with 6 GB of DDR 3 RAM and after using the installer the RAM is reported as DDR 2 800 MHz.

Also I wonder do I have to add the DSDT from 15 th of may after I ran the 1.15 installer?

i have the same problem too ... its that how it suppose to be ?

My "timed sleep" , was after 7 min, is now broken.

No more "timed sleep"

I have only installed the Safari 5 , if thats counts, no idea why.

Any suggestions???

Its stupid to think that Safari 5 , changed something, OR?

No completly sure...

I need more test...

Probably the error is in the GFX injection (for nvidia card only..)

Fabio

Yes, maybe that's the problem.

I've upgraded right now straight from "Software Update" and everything (except for the well known onboard audio) seems to be ok.

I tried both sleep 'n' stop and they do the job!

First time posting here in a long time (been checking out this thread for awhile though), and everything is running fine on 10.6.4 on my P6T Deluxe, and shutdown and sleep work just fine. But I noticed something after the 10.6.4 update. My 280 GTX now gets very low frame rates for this card, especially compared to before the update (10.6.3 and prior). For example, now TF2 runs at around 12fps compared to over 60fps before (it ran almost exactly the same as it did under Windows on 10.6.3). Its running slower than the 9600GT in my Late 08 MacBook Pro.

I noticed Fabio mentioned an error in Graphics Injection with 10.6.4, maybe this could be causing this problem. Is this going to require him retooling the DSDT, will this require a new Chameleon version, or do I need to put in some strings to one of the plists (I am using GraphicsEnjector)? Either way, this is abit of a major issue for me.

ey st3p, can you give me more info about this onboard audio issue? I haven't upgraded yet and my audio seems to be working just fine (on P6T Deluxe V2)

Thanks,

dickoy

Need help ;( updated using combo update, rebooted, monitor went into power saving mode. Booted from 10.6.3 install, copied ATIFrambuffer, ATISupport and ATI4800Controller kexts and rebooted into 1.0.6.4 and got garbage screen.

Anyone had this issue? Is there anything I missed?

Thanks,

dickoy

Hi! From 10.6.3 Apple changed the audio driver: it's /system/library/extensions/AppleHDA.kext

You must upgrade to 10.6.4, than you can use dgobe's new patcher or smith@@'s patched driver.

After that, clear caches, run kext.utility and reboot.

By the way...thanks to smith@@ & dgobe for audiodriver & patch!
