ltoolio
Hey all, My SL install won't wake from sleep by moving the mouse or keyboard, but hitting the power button will. I suspect that it has something to do with how SL is handling the USB ports at sleep (I think it it is completely turning them off), since I get a message at resume about my USB Hard Drive not being ejected properly. It then shows up as mounted 5 seconds later. Any thoughts? I have read a few posts elsewhere stating that it has something to do with IOUSBFamily.kext, but the articles were in reference to earlier versions of OSX. Thanks, LT
ltoolio
Problem fixed. My USB Ports were being recognized as expansion ports rather than as built-in ports. Consequently, they were being shut off at sleep. I fixed it by getting them to be recognized as built-in ports via the kext at the bottom of the page in the link below http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...7029&st=
