Alessandro17
I doubt you'll get any help unless you add more info. What are trying to install? (Leopard, Snow Leopard?) Which distribution? (If any). Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/207998-what-kext-should-i-use-for-nvidia-geforce2/#findComment-1389508 Share on other sites

coolcatco888
...ok so what does it take to get an answer around here? This is related to my previous post: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...amp;pid=1387447 I've tried googling what works but I haven't really found anything. I am trying to get my actual mac install to boot, just boot. Now I'm not the type of guy that just asks, "Why doesn't it boot?", I actually try to look for solutions. My installer boots and installs, the System Profiler when using just the installer DVD recognizes the graphics card. So please, I hope I have made this ridiculously clear. Which kext/method do I use? I've found this link: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/EFI If this is the solution, where/how do I edit EFI strings? Please I really need help. If you know anything about getting just the os to boot, I don't even care about sound or perfect screen resolution or anything I just want to know how to get it to boot using the settings and kexts that the installer uses to boot please let me know.
