ArgVega
use the -v in the boot menu so we can see where the errors are, if you show us a blank screen we can't see what has happened. Try: boot: -v cpus=1 busratio=7 post results here

ArgVega
the vmx file is the hardware configuration your virtual machine is, got to the folder where you saved your leopard machin and it should be in that folder by the same name as the machine. my msn is: gonzalo.hvega@hotmail.com

ArgVega
Try customizing your installation by adding: -x86patches -> kernel, add voodoo 9.7.0 -drivers->system-> ps/2 mouse/keyboard-> add voodoo ps2 driver Try to install using those and let me know the results. far.runner
I did what you suggested, but still got the same error. so far, Leopard works fine, but the snow leopard just won't boot up with this error. Try customizing your installation by adding: -x86patches -> kernel, add voodoo 9.7.0 -drivers->system-> ps/2 mouse/keyboard-> add voodoo ps2 driver Try to install using those and let me know the results. ArgVega
so you are trying to install snow leopard after installing your osx86. I migh be wrong but it seems your kernel is not running which is why yo are stuck at Staring Darwing... Also did you complete all the steps witout any errors or complications. Also make sure you apply the correct patches to the correct volume i.e. the snow volume you created. If that falis try the kernel from tis post, I use it in vmware: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=189969

I've installed the driver voodoo PS/2 trackpad... Could you help me? I don't understand why the touchpad works under osx installation and now doesn't. darkgray
No DSDT replacement found. Leaving ACPI data as isStarting Darwin x86 I had this problem until I reread the instructions and noticed that you have to use "FreeBSD (64 bit)" for the Snow Leopard settings, even on a 32bit Win XP host, which also limits CPUs to 1. When I switched to 64bit it suddenly started working. Can't get any sound right now, but network is functional, at least.
