verdant
I have experienced no problems using AppleNForceATA.imkbit.kext with OS X Yosemite on my 650i nForce MOBO with 8GB RAM and multiple internal SATA HDDs. What specific issues are you having?

verdant
MeDevil left the OSx86 scene a long time ago and never posted the source code for his 32 bit AppleNForceATA.kext.TEST (which for many nForce MOBOs enabled SATA optical disk reading but not writing) so other developers cannot produce a 32bit version and now more importantly a 64 bit version that enables reliable SATA CD/DVD read AND write for all nForce chipset MOBOs.......that is why an IDE (PATA) DVDRW drive set up as Master is recommended for most nForce chipset MOBOs.......
yakei
I was the opinion that Savva_Mitrofanov also in this kext for NForce was involved, see http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/206494-applenforceata-x32x64-new-sl-version-recompiled/?p=2061091 Therefore I am assumed that the Kext provided for Maverick also on Yosemite be adapted can

verdant
@ 虎千代 using AppleNForceATA.imk in 650i SATA DVD can work it ????? Only when using IDE (PATA) CD/DVDRW device for the reasons I said in my earlier post. You are using AHCI mode or SATA mode ????? SATA with RAID enabled but not RAID not used gives implicit AHCI functionality. I use the AppleNForceATA.imk.kext because it works for OS X Snow Leopard and later. I would try AppleNforceATA-1.0.4-HWUPD if it was also OS X Snow Leopard compatible but what more does it offer than the AppleNForceATA.imk.kext? AppleNForceATA.imk.kext == AnV AppleNForceATA 1.0.4 optimized for SL 32/64bit The difference is to add support for hardware You can view the source But this is only for new hardware to work (MPC67 73 77/78 79 89) This kext build on Lion with Xcode 4.4(10.7SDK) may be Snow Leopard not compatible You can test it or rebuild Kext try to build on the old OS X Because the new OS X compatible old Kext old OS X may be Not compatible new Kext
