~ I think that this is my built in webcam ?

I allready tried Macam, but it crashes immediatly on launch..

And i really want to use my webcam with Snow Leopard to communicate with my family using Skype.

I got my built in microphone working using VoodooHDA.

I really appreciate all help getting the Motion Eye Webcam to work for all Sony Vaio users !

hi

your webcam is connected in good condition but you can not use it under photoboth or other software so you must connect your pc on windows and then just open the webcam to test it and then restart your pc and enter mac os x and test on Photoboth and tell me the result

I really want to get this webcam working guys, any help is appreciated!

Hi Monnik,

i wish i could help but i'm writing coz i have the same laptop as urs but have been struggling day and night for the past 2 weeks to get everything working.

I would really appreciate if u could share some info. How did you get your video card working, I'm sure its an ATI Radeon x2300. So far i had little or no success. Wifi doesn't work, webcam doesn't work.

Thanks in advance

Sorry, I return this thread up, to see if finally somebody can find a solution on this.

With new facetime, getting a webcam working on SnowLeopard is a must...

After months doing searches and googling a bit, nobody gets any update. I remember one member from this forum found that starting up webcam from VMWare, then could be used on SnowLeopard...

Sorry, have no idea on programing, so I can't help. Hope somebody can.

I'm running Snow Leopard from Sony Vaio UX...coolest ever... :)

And thanks for all.
