spatimouth
Just got OSX86 10.4.6 loaded on my Dell B140.... runs very nicely. I can't for the life of me get the audio working. Has anyone found any sort of fix yet? Is there anyone still working on drivers? I'd really like to have this audio work and not have to carry a soundblaster USB around for audio
spatimouth
Well guess this is probably going to be the end of my OSX86 experience...... I might just buy a mac mini now.

spatimouth
Yah so I'm using some hacked up logitech USB headset with a spliced a/v cable going to my reciever for sound.... it looks so getto....
spatimouth
got sound out of my b120 laptop by jerryriging a broken logitech USB headset. The headset was physically broken but the logic board still worked. So I took some old wires and was able to get it connected to my reciever... yippe for me.... Looks gettoo.... hopefully a driver will be released sometime so I don't have to have a hacked looking cable for sound.

mifki
hahah, hmm, do you know how much time it will take, trust me it isnt just a little app which says port. But im looking at the source, but it isnt looking so good (somebody tried to port the IPW2200 driver and didnt get very far). Also im not very good at IOKit (actually im absolute {censored} at it so im goign to learn the basics of that first, all this is for after efi tho))
