pcamel Posted June 29, 2006 Share Posted June 29, 2006 hey, i just upgraded to JaS 10.4.7 from 10.4.5 and my imic stopped working as well. i fixed it by taking copies of IOAudioFamily.kext, AudioDeviceTreeUpdater.kext, and AudioPCDriver.kext from a backup of my 10.4.5 extensions folder and replacing the ones on my 10.4.6 with the older version. I have jas 10.4.6 and jas 10.4.7 (full install dvd)... can someone help me? Is there a different usb sound card that will work well with the os's I have? My iMic now works for audio input and output. I got a nice bonus prize too: the microphone on my Logitech Quickcam Notrbook Pro now works! :-) Many thanks.
