i would like to use a Bootloader similar looking to the OSX's Boot camp boot screen. I have Windows installed to one Disk and OSX86 on another.

by disks are

OSX = Disk1s1

Windows = Disk0s2

Ive also included an image on what i'd like the boot loader to look somewhat like but instead of using the icon for the HDD use a windows logo icon for the windows HDD and a Finder icon for the OSX HDD. Would it be possible to customize Chameleon to do something like this? Could you please include instructions to install Chameleon from my OSX install regardless if it is possible to theme it like this.

Thankksss :(

you should go to voodoproject´s forum, there are serveral bootcamp like themes for chameleon

an other alternative is boot think.

or google for Slinger2g´s XPC bootloader mod, it´s really bootcamp-like.

sadly the xpc stuff had very bad documentation.....

i still cant get my SATA HHD´s connected to ICH10r controller.

Thankss for the help.

i was having trouble with my SATA as well. i was using iDeneb 10.5.7 but i kept getting still waiting for root device error. I was using IDE with a HDD in Master and the CD in slave all on one channel because i only have 1 channel. I then went back to Kalyway 10.5.2 and i installed the first time with only the MB drivers that matched my chipset. (X38 NB and ICH9 SB) but still got root device error. so then i tried again and kept the recomended kexts selected (all of the Chipset ones) and then selected the others that matched my setup of NIC's and Audio and others.

i rebooted and woooo. it worked, Audio, Network, CD, Graphics (ATI HD3850). I then plugged in my Windows 7 HDD on SATA0 and it still was booting from the OSX. Ive just put chameleon on and its working perfectly with the theme.

also when i booted from the CD it was showing things about Jmicron Chipsets. it looked like it was using these kexts. so you could try these.

Anyways. I hope this helps :blowup:

By The Way, My Specs are

CPU=Intel Pentium Dual Core 2.5Ghz E5200

MB=GA-X38-DQ6 Ultra Durable

RAM = 4GB Kingston at 800Mhz DualChannel

HDD = 1x 320GB SATA with Windows on it

= 1x 40GB IDE with OSX

=1x 1TB with bootable OSX clone

Video = ATI Radeon HD3850 256MB

PCI = Winfast 1000s TV tuner (not working in OSX)

Ever thought of running chameleon v2 in perfect 16:9 view even if your board doesn't support 16:9 on VESA, well here's your solution.

set your monitor to wide mode from it's settings and apply this theme to chameleon (assuming you know how to apply themes to chameleon v2).
