I've installed, as described on this site, Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.6 on this pc:

CPU Intel Pentium 4 2.8 ghz HT (SSE2)

Mobo Asus P4p8x

I've configured ethernet and audio sound card, both integrated on the mainboard. The soundcard is a

SoundMax AC97, id 8086 24D5. With AppleAudioAC97.kext i hear perfect mp3 and the audio output in general...

But if i want to use microphone (in skype, for example), it doesn't work, i've reinstalled audio driver 3 times and i don't know what to do, here is a screenshot of my config:

Thanks for the answer :)

Quickest fix is to buy a usb headset.

This is what i have done and set all sound prefs to output to the usb headset.

When i unplug the headset sound comes out the internal soundcard.

When i plug in the headset it automatically shuts of sound from internal sondcard

and sends it to headset because all my sound prefs say to direct the system sounds

etc to it.

You also need to set up skype to use the headset as input / output device.

You may need to install the sounblaster usb audio drivers from the 10.4.6 JaS disc

to get the usb headset working in the first place.

Most usb headsets use the c-media chipset and the sounblaster usb drivers

work fine for this.
