I'm trying to get the kalyway 10.5.2 disc to run on my 1ghz g4, and I keep getting an error saying my system is supported, even though it meets the Leopard requirements. I would like to try to get kalyway on my PPC, before I switch over to the intel side, which will cost oodles of money, but if leopard is good, then it would be worth it.

Not going to work. kalyway 10.5.2 is for Intel, you need the PPC version of leopard for your ppc mac. Off the top of my head the minimum Ram you need is 1gig.

Not going to cost oodles of money if you go the hackintosh route. As a mac user since OS 7 can tell you OS X is great & 10.6 is fantastic

may have same title but completely different question

Is there any OSX86 project that will run on PPC? I saw a post here: http://myhistoryweb.blogspot.com/2009/04/k...-dvd-intel.html , that said it would run on a g4, and I am able to load the DMG, it just won't let me run the installer. Usually if it wouldn't run on a PPC, it wouldn't run at all...
