skruven
How about my motherboard? EP45-UD3. I have heard that it is the same as EP45-UD3P but without dual GBIT LAN and without SLI-support. Therefore i think it should work with the installation package for EP45-UD3P. Eller är jag ute och cyklar?

EP45-UD3 is actually the same as EP45-UD3R, only difference is that 'R' has ICH10R and we have ICH10. Even the manual is common for these these boards. But i would guess that the most optimal package would be the EP45-UD3R

fintan6
Thanks for the great work. I'm up running on an EP45-UD3P without problems once booted. However I'm getting a boot0: error on my primary drive. I'm able to get in by booting by USB install drive and hitting f8. I've tried reinstalling and just tried the GigabyteBoot upgrade as well, nothing works. Any suggestions on how to fix? Also, has anyone tried the Bonjour Update yet? madxmat
I have 2 questions: 1- How can i install new bootloader on my USB dongle or on my installed SL. Can i just install it or do i have to delete some files. My dongle is corrupted and when I am at screen where i can shoose from what to boot i have some screen tearing. When i boot into OSX everything is ok. I cant use 1.4 bootloader as it gives me grey screen with "Yuo need to restart..." and i lost my version 1.3 which was working perfectly. 2 - I reainstalled system and migrated my stuff from prevoius instal but my sound is gone?! I have USB headphones and those i can use but no internal speakers or anything else, how can i fix this. Thanks for replays

680i-osx
But, while in Step 4 - (Installing bootloader to thumb drive) I selected correctly my mother as EX58-UD5, reaching Step 6 (Installing Snow Leopard) I got a window saying "The following component of Mac OS X were not found on an installation disc: Gigabyte EX58-UD5"I repited Step 4 three times, but always I got the same sentence. I've got the same problem, but didn't mind and proceeded the installation.. The installation it self went without problem, but the network controlers weren't detected at all, none of them. Do I need to install them by my self? My system: - EX58-UD5 - i7 920 - 6GB RAM - GTX285 1GB - 5 SATA HDs - SATA BD-ROM What works: - sound (digital optical out) - video correctly detected, but no remarks about QE/CI - memory correctly detected ( DDR3 1600) please help me with the ethernet!
