Hello alll,

I bought a MSI Wind U100 Plus to install OS X on it: I seen a lot of people doing it on this machine.

But it appears I'm the unlucky guy - I can't get the video working.

I installed iPC 10.5.6, then upgraded to 10.5.7 without problems following the guides on forums.msiwind.net (they are offline at the moment). The machine works very nicely in VESA mode, but when I install the modified GMA kexts (also on that forum) all I get is a blue screen. However OS X is running - I can SSH into it!

Any suggestion? If I can't make it work I'll have to sell it and buy a different model :(

I was given a wind u100 that my father-in-law made then forgot about, stuck at resolution 800x600 and wireless-less. I fixed the wireless problem by reading forums every night for the last week, learning what kext is, and basically doing some advanced fiddling. For the resolution, I tried switchrex- fail. But it didn't do any harm, either, so I just uninstalled it. Then I tried DisplayConfigX and I get stuck with the blue screen of death. I am a super noob, fresher than they come since i didn't make this in the first place, but I did think to reboot in single-user mode. When I do that, the login text runs, the screen turns blue, then after a minute it flashes to some code, then back to blue, on a loop. Help?
