Hally_57
Hi, i have a mac pro early 2008 board connected to all the original parts it should have and all i get when i plug the power cbale in is a solid white led light on the front. After a while (15mins) the OT B led comes on the logic board for overheating issues but that proves there is power. Ive spent near $1200 on this build and really need it to work for university. Im 90% sure the logic board is not faulty along with the PSU. There is no reason why it shouldnt power up as it has all the correct ram/cpu fans graphics card etc. Please Please help x Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/190301-mac-pro-early-2008-build-problem/ Share on other sites
ingab
Do you connected the fan power supply cable at the motherboard. I, for example, forgotten this and the system switch off for protection. You have this connection below the fourth hard drive bay. I hope that this help you. Andy P.S: sorry for my english Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/190301-mac-pro-early-2008-build-problem/#findComment-1297155 Share on other sites
