Support Apple & buy a REAL copy!!! You will find everything (less the retail dvd) that you need in Blackosx's support files. Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!!! Can you make some mini guide for P35C-DS3R? I tried to follow Blackosx's post but it doesn't successed. Is bootcd for P45 is the same as for p35? I used this BootCD, and then I insered a copy of snow leopard 10.6.3. He just said "cant find match_kernel" and didnt proceed. Maybe I did something wrong when I burned the SL-.dmg in Windows (used PowerISO) ?
seltsam23
Now I tried the bootCD from the Threadopener also. It seem to work, so I see an Apple-Loadingscreen until after a while a failuremessage occurs which says "you need to restart your computer" Whats wrong? :-/

barbaroja
I could install it on my P35C DS3R. v1.1 Some DSDT fixes were required. I am attaching the DSDT I am using. Audio works, you need legacyHDA kext on extra/extensions. Wifi over USB works. The machine seems to recognize the jmicron ports wich I have in AHCI as unknowns, but my DVD writers are both IDE, and they do not get recognized. I modified the jmicron kext, and I got recognition of the devices, but kernel panics. Is there a DSDT fix for jmicron proper recognition and IDE functionality? In S/L/E there is a driver but does not work. I am using AsereBLN booter, by the way. Oh and also, I made a crappy rtf file abut what changes were aplied to my DSDT, using this patcher: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=223205 DSDT.aml.zip PATCHES.rtf
