Wayland
I am starting to wonder if Asus will put standard chips that they use in all the other laptops into the Macbooks. The reason why I am asking this is because of the sound chipsets. They may in fact use the ALC 882 which they have used in their laptops for quite some time. Any thoughts? Perhaps some other kexts would become available!!!!! Sweeeet. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18344-macbook-hardware/ Share on other sites
bofors
First I think that you might be able to find this information out on the Internet somewhere. Next, I think that Intel actually designed the motherboard and otherwise Apple would dictate which chips are to be used. In short, Asus is just building to Apple's speciifcations and probably has little to no input on design decisions.
