I tell my problems. i have installed leopard 10.5.2 kaliway in my old pc (packard-bell sis671 core 2 duo 1,6) without many problems, i get audio and wireless working. then, the hdd with 10-5-2 installed has been changed to my new pc "p5q se 2 micro core 2 quad 2.8". i did it because never boot installation (i have try kaliway, iatkos v7, ideneb and nothing always panic), the old installations works ok (except audio :S) So, y try to install snow leopard 10.6 retail whith an original DVD I used the guide: http://osx86sv.wordpress.com/2009/09/04/ho...asus-p5-series/ installations finally ok, but when i boot y get this screen: i don´t know how continue, i have spent about 2 weeks and read 100000 webs. stanza33 Posted April 5, 2010 Share Posted April 5, 2010 For people having troubles with firewire. Are you having troubles with firewire HOTSWAP ie plugging firewire in after OSX is up and running? Or firewire just doesn't work. On my system, all the way from 10.5.1 firewire has worked fine, BUT it has to be plugged in before OSX is started, never had it work with hot swapping.
