bobdvb
Same issue here, stuck at the same place. -Intel DG35EC -Ati 3870 -Chameleon RC2 on EFI partition, with only: fakesmc.kext NullCPUPoserManagement.kext OpenHaltRestar.kext Update- I have been digging around a little further, and I believe my issue is my Video Card (hd3870). If I insert the gfx strings (that work with 10.5.8) into my boot.plist, I get past the hang at AppleIntelCPUManagement. Unfortunately at that point my screen goes black and the monitor flashes a warning message that it has lot its signal. If I boot with the gfx strings, I get past the hang at the AppleIntelCPUManagement but my screen blanks out, it I remove the gfx string my system hangs. Only the gfx string seems to get me past the hang, removing the gfx string and installing natit.kext or booting with either -v -x or -v -x -x32 has no effect. noob766
you probably need a graphics driver. or other driver kexts to use snow leopard, what modifications did you make to regular leopard to make it run on your machine? Same issue here, stuck at the same place.-Intel DG35EC -Ati 3870 -Chameleon RC2 on EFI partition, with only: fakesmc.kext NullCPUPowerManagement.kext OpenHaltRestart.kext These kexts are the bare necessities to boot snow leopard. so any modifications you had to make in leopard also need to be made here with updated kexts. heres a good site Drivers try adding this kext IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector.kext.zip If you used my guide please post issues there so I can update my guide on issues people are having. moarfish
I was facing the same problem, but when I replace the newer version of FakeSMC, it works... I don't know why.
The Raton
Had the same problem on my Asus P5LD2 and I found out that it does not boot with graphic string in com.apple.Boot.plist. If I remove the strings then it boots fine and is stable, but no graphics:(

SilverZero
Having a similar hangup with the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement kext timing out. Tried NullCPUPowerManagement, tried removing AppleICPUPM, no good. All kexts are in /S/L/E. What else can we try on this? UPDATE: Removing fakesmc and replacing it with dsmos seems to have fixed it! I did remove AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement, but not the -client sister kext.

Oatman
I am pretty sure I have the fix for this due to me having a similar error with this. You need to put this "Disabler.kext" into your extensions folder and then you need to remove your cache for the extensions or boot with your -f parameter. http://rapidshare.de/files/48111002/dsmos.kext_2.zip.html

Tigerbull
I had the same problem and figured out that in my case it was caused by graphics card (Radeon HD 4870). After i entered dev and manufacturer ids into 4800controller.kext SL loading has finally made it to the desktop.
