m0rf
Thanks for the howto, tho i didn't worked for me. I'm trying to install SL on my Asus P5KPL-AM SE (G31 Chipset) with a HD4850 512MB. I've tried to bind in some kexts, but i always get: AppleACPIPlatform Kernel Panics upon first boot. Any suggestions? Thanks

lzthqx
Just an update: Managed to get QE/CI working perfectly now on the ION 330. When using NVinject.kext, I would get resolution change ability, but no QE/CI. I switched to SilentNatit (64), but had to modify the NVCAP settings to match the IONs onboard GPU. I changed it from <data>BAAAAAAAAwAMAAAAAAAABwAAAAA=</data> (the default in Natit.kext) to <data>BAAAAAAAAwAcAAAAAAAACgAAAAA=</data>. Blammo! Full video goodness, with resolution change ability, and QE/CI. The only odd thing I can see, is that it wont load Natit.kext from my hidden EFI partition on boot, only from S/L/E. Same as Voodoo.kext. Perhps I', missing some there too. Cheers!

I put a link to your guide at the top. Let me know if i'm allowed to incorporate it into the guide Thanks for the howto, tho i didn't worked for me.I'm trying to install SL on my Asus P5KPL-AM SE (G31 Chipset) with a HD4850 512MB. Thanks Post your LSPCI Seems like I have some problems getting my Gigabyte 4850 (GV-R485MC-1GH) running using this method. Booting from USB I keep getting a black screen with some white strange looking stripes on the screen when having the evoenabler.kext added in E/E. Are there any other extensions to try first, or is it fiddling with DSDT or EFI strings that might be my reprieve? Post your LSPCI how to get the radeon 3870 working? Try EVOEnabler. perangbintang
you are probably missing dependencies, place R1000.kext in system/library/extensions and repair permissions. OMG...you are absolutely right. now it's working without -f -v flags. now i'm a happy snow user. thanks man! you've been a great help.
