Eric.C
Most of the guides I've read are for 2 HDDs, I have a 8GB flash drive and 1 HDD at my disposal... does anyone know if I can somehow move the items in the Snow Leopard Install Disk onto a flash drive, then boot from it to install? or is there an easier alternative? dparada78
I did it on one sata hard drive with 2 partitions, GUID. One for Leopard, one for Snow. Install Leopard on the first partition. When you got Leopard running, mount the Snow DMG and run the OSinstall.mpkg on it but deselect everything except for the base system. I used this guide but i did not restore the image...I installed straight from the mounted snow dmg to my snow partition. http://www.infinitemac.com/f57/how-to-inst...-on-a-pc-t3137/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/182191-help-with-snow-leopard-install/#findComment-1238557 Share on other sites
