Everytime i try to boot MacOSX Leopard it will ask me to restart. This happens after loading Mac jsut before startup.

panic_2.jpg < Exactly this

I'm using the Kalyway distro also selected MBR petition. Running Windows 7 on first hard-drive and MacOSX on second hard-drive.

My comp specs are:

Gigabyte P35-DS3

Intel Quadcore Q6600

2 GIG Ram 800

2X 500GIG

8800GT

I used EasyBCD to make a dualboot.

You didn't even try?

If you boot with -v you won't see the "apple loading screen".

You will see what happens when it stops so that you can make a note of it.

I did -v for some reason it was showing me all the codes then it poped back to the screen. I got rid of Kalyway. Got a new problem...Currently using iAtkos. Problem is "still waiting for root device". Gonna search up some solutions. It would be nice if someone could drop down some tips in this thread.

'Still waiting for root device' means that the system doesn't recognize your drive controller.

SATA must be set to AHCI mode in the BIOS.

Other possible solutions depend on your hardware configuration (drive types and controller(s)).

You should be able to buy your way out of this problem by using all SATA devices but it's possible to get most PATA/SATA combinations up and running with a little searching and some luck.

/EDIT

I don't have such luck though..

The P4 (ICH5) hackintosh in my signature doesn't want to boot from a PATA HDD at all. When using a PATA -> SATA converter (yes I bought one of those horrid things) with my spare HDD - which is PATA - it only works when it wants to. Half the time I get 'still waiting for root device'. Sometimes it will boot fine. It's totally random. If I unplug the converter and connect the hard drive to a PATA port I just get a blinking cursor.

For anyone looking to buy one of those converters - don't get the cheap ones! I bought mine to connect a PATA CD-RW to a SATA port and it turns out it doesn't work at all with optical drives - I've tried several.
