ssboba
I have Gigabyte G31M-ES2L motherboard, with Intel Dual-Core E5300 processor, 4GB ram and integrated Intel X3100 graphic card on my (desktop) machine.. First I was installed Kalyway, everything worked ok, except graphic card. Mac just don't recognise it, whatever I tried.. Than I tried with iDeneb, and now with iPC, the problem was same.. In informations about graphic card there is no kext loaded, and mac doesn't recognize my card at all.. I tried to load kext manually, install drivers and edit efi HEX.. Is there any way to resolve this problem (except to buy another graphic card ) tnx (P.S. - sorry for bad english ) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/180471-ipc-1056-postinstallation-problem-with-graphics/ Share on other sites
J.B
which kext did you try and how did you install it? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/180471-ipc-1056-postinstallation-problem-with-graphics/#findComment-1229130 Share on other sites
ssboba
First I tried to load Intel X3100 kext from the iPC disk (iDeneb, Kalyway) manually (from the terminal), then with a few programs, KextHelper or something like that (I'm not on my computer right now, so I do not know names of the programs and kexts). Then I found few kexts here on forum and I tried with them too.. And I download Intel GMA X3100 Drivers from some topic on this forum too, but, nothing happends when I installed them.. With HEX I change my drivers to Intel GMA 950, Mac recognized my card as GMA 950, but, when I tried to do same thing for X3100, ther was same old problem (no card recognized and no kext loaded).. J.B
hmm...have you checked your BIOS settings or anything like that to see if there are any options that might make a difference, sorry but i'm not sure what to do if you have tried manually installing and using kexthelper have you looked at this thread before?: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...amp;mode=linear Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/180471-ipc-1056-postinstallation-problem-with-graphics/#findComment-1229199 Share on other sites

mirkko
Hi there! Listen, I have the same card and I took me a while to get it to work properly but the solution, in my case was extremely easy. I'd tried a few "drivers" (i'm not sure you call them that way in Mac) but then I had the simple idea of installing Leopard without selecting a video driver and it just worked out of the box! I hope it helps you! PS: my laptop is an Acer Aspire 5315 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/180471-ipc-1056-postinstallation-problem-with-graphics/#findComment-1236040 Share on other sites
