Hi guys,

i hade a question.

i want to replace my current 150 gb 7200 rbm 8 mb cache harddrive with

a Maxtor Diamondmax 11, 400GB (7200rpm, SATA II, 16MB, NCQ (RoHS)

I have read that S ATTa II is no differend then S ATTA but that the bandwith would be higher.

so i would be possitif to buy a S ATTA II Harddrive.

What do you guys think?

Will S ATTA support the S ATTA II, and will i get better performance ore less if not completely compatible.

Alsaw, will the x86 version of mac work ? As i am plannig on installing it nativly on my pc.

Thanks guys !

Greets

Michaël.
