Having problem compile the DSDT.DSL.

Hi everyone.

I used fassl`s latest DSDT Patcher to patch my buggy DSDT. I only able to get the DSDT.DSL file then failed to compile it to DSDT.AML file. A bunch of errors showed during the compiling process.

ERRORS BELOW. Any suggestion will be helpful.

It can be overwhelming when you see that many errors. Download DSDTSE, extract your dsdt file, save it, and then try to compile it. You will get all the errors again but if you look under "DSDT Fixes" it will show you what code to insert for which error. It will take a bit but once you get the hang of getting rid of some errors its a breeze. Make sure you compile after each change.

Thanks for the tip, dude. I recently got to know the DSDTSE app. I did send EVOSX a letter to request a fix of my buggy DSDT and they told me they will release a tool for that and they released now. I`ll try it soon. Hope it will save my headachea. :)

i think your fix is in DSDTSE ... it's this:

 

/dsdt_fixed.txt	24:	 External (^CPU0._PPC) 

The problem here is that the compiler doesn't like the following:

External (^CPU0._PPC)

It can be fixed by using this code:


External (\_PR.CPU0._PPC)

Then we must find and replace every occurrence in the code that has ^CPU0 for _PR.CPU0 to skip this error:

Hi, i have the same problem. 201 errors, 0 warnings and a lot optimizations,

i tried everything, and the errors don't get less

i tried everything there is to be found on google, and i am out of ideas, all the 201 it shows are object doesnt exist errors, but the thing is it is an untouched dsdt

i updated my bios and directly after that extracted the dsdt and still get errors everywhere

someone plz help me, i've been trying for over a year now

Hi everyone.

I used fassl`s latest DSDT Patcher to patch my buggy DSDT. I only able to get the DSDT.DSL file then failed to compile it to DSDT.AML file. A bunch of errors showed during the compiling process.
