musico
PC: HP Pavilion Slimline model s3500t Hardware: * Motherboard: Foxconn Irvine * CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E4700 @ 2.60 GHz * RAM: 2GB * Hard Drive: Hitachi HDP725050GLA360 SATA * DVD Writer: LG Electronics HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GH10L ATA Device * Video: NVIDIA GeForce 9300 GE I inserted the DVD with iDeneb 1.5 1057 for the first time in my computer and restarted, went in verbose mode, and kept getting a "Still waiting for root device" message. When I tried to run off the disc it would freeze at the grey Apple logo before any sort of installation, with the crossed circle eventually appearing over the logo. I read that if you get stuck at that screen, it's a good idea to patch the .iso file with the patch that the iDeneb team provides. So I tried patching the .iso, restarting the computer and going into verbose mode with that but got a string of these messages after about 8 min.: And get the crossed circle failure as well when trying to proceed with the installation. Any ideas what could be wrong, what are my options, and if there's any way to get the OSX installation going? Thanks.
