vai05
I have Windows 7 installed on one HD marked as disk0 and Kalyway 10.5.2 on another HD marked as disk1. I am not dual-booting by partitioning one HD into two parts. Each OS is installed on its own respective HD. I have successfully booted into Kalyway 10.5.2 after receiving the "EFS+ Partition Error" by booting into the Kalyway DVD, hitting F8, and typing -s then typing: fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 flag 1 update write quit However, now I am unable to boot into my first hard drive where Windows 7 is installed. I have attempted to use the Windows Startup Repair from the DVD but it does not recognize Windows 7. I've also tried using the terminal after booting into OSX and typing in: sudo -s fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 flag 2 quit I have also attempted to set my Windows 7 HD as active by doing the following using CMD through the repair tools from the DVD: diskpart select disk 0 select partition 1 active exit exit However, after rebooting, through the Windows 7 DVD, it still does not recognize Windows... I have used these guides. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uavcyF0BMA http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofiversi...php/t33216.html I understand that these guides pertain to dual-booting on one HD, and since I have not yet found any guide relating to Kalyway and Windows each installed on its own respective drive, these guides were all that I could follow, hoping that it would work similarly. But it hasn't. Any help would greatly be appreciated, as I've been at this for quite some time now Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/178361-trouble-booting-into-windows-after-successfully-booting-into-osx/ Share on other sites
