Hi,

I have question concerning my netbook. I am very proud to be the owner of a Samsung N310. But I am having problems getting OS X86 installed…The Hardware specs of the N310 are actually very similar to the ones of the NC10 and most other Netbooks.

Now I am trying to dual boot IDeneb 1.4 with the Windows XP on the Harddrive.

During installation I chose the NC10 option in the Customise Window and started the install. The Leopard DVD check and the installation ran through cleanly and it went into reboot. Now i eject IDeneb from my external DVD Drive and the bootloader appears. I choose the Leopard installation and the Apple appears. The spinning circle eventually gets stuck. Booting in -v mode showed that it got stuck at the AppleDecrypt file. What does that mean? I tried reinstall twice….same procedure….same result..actually makes sense. ;)

Do I have to choose a certain driver during installation? Does anyone have a clue what I could be doing wrong?

Please give me a tip if you can. I have been trying to get OSX86 running since the deadmoo image... :D

I worked with this tutorial:

http://smallcomputing.net/2009/05/06/guide...g-n120-netbook/

I tried the updating to 10.5.7, but it didn't work and everything was screwed up.

I think that sleep does work (screen shuts off and all the LEDs except for one, it flashes), but the wireless doesn't work. You'd have to get a new card. Also the ILife apps seem to demanding for the system. I guess because it's "only" an Atom. It asks you to shut off your computer. The Iwork suite and the onboard apps work just fine.

I really do like the N310. It is a very nice chic little netbook. My friends say they'd like one because they like the design. Wel,l hope I could help you.

resolution and graphical gimmicks work perfectly after replacing the intel driver (described in the tutorial)
