Thrace
Hey all, I just installed iAtkos v7 and everything else works except finding my HP DVD burner. Now, I had 10.5.5 running and the JMicron kexts worked, so I had my DVD burner, but now it doesn't work. Is there a known problem or am I maybe using the wrong kexts? Thanks! Thrace
Actually, I'd like to bump this because I do realize a few other things are different. I'm using Chameleon 2 in 10.5.7 instead of PC EFI 9 as a bootloader in 10.5.5. Could this affect my ability to see my SATA DVD Burner? jeffrey1790
i have the same problem with AppleNForceATA. i am forced to use the 4GB+ kext, however on that one dvds dont seem to work. If i were to use one that kernel panics with 4GB+, dvds work fine. So it must be some type deviceid thing in the kext.
