Thewraith
you must erase the intel speedstep kext, i had the exactly same boot kp Thanks. But i'm a complete mac n00b. And i don't know how and where to locate that kext. A simple guide would be ever so helpful. =) I've tried searching for speedstep, but nothing comes up. Thewraith
this is your goal, naturally the kext is another one, exactly IntelEnhancedSpeedStep.kext Ok, i removed the SpeedStep kext you mentioned by using the following command rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/IntelEnhancedSpeedStep.kext AND since someone suggested this line.. I tried that too. sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/IntelEnhancedSpeedStep.kext However, i still get the same error message. Edit. Yes, i did also enable file changes by plotting in the commands mentioned at terminal startup. Update! I ran AppleJack and ran a repair permissions. Now it boots. Thanks for the help. Though i might come back and ask for more help. =) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/171178-panic-and-my-dell-latitude-d620/#findComment-1179993 Share on other sites
