donaldj
Hello, I was running 10.5.2, it said I was a Mac Pro, Now, after the iDeneb 10.5.7 upgrade (which went perfectly, besides this) in the system profiler it says: Model Identifier: MacBookPro5,1 Is there anyway to change a file of some sort, so that I'm back to a good 'ol Mac Pro, or even something custom I enter myself? Beerkex'd
You are showing off your age with that spelling mistake. Symbios <> SMBIOS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symbios_Logic http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMBIOS When giving advice to newbies it's important to get the spelling right - otherwise you're sending them searching for something that doesn't exist. Whoa, whoa, whoa... I need to reinstall? All I did was upgrade, and it changed. Can't i manually edit this SMBIOS? @Beerkex'd, yep! I'm a newbie!
